Bible Study for 11-26-2006
Our Bible Study tells how the work of Jesus comes to all of us.
Our Bible Study tells how the work of Jesus comes to all of us.
This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor James Heffner focuses the eyes of Christians on the glories of eternity. As Christians our greatest comfort is knowing that thanks to Jesus we are saints in God’s eyes who have had Jesus’ righteousness credited to us. The work of the church involves proclaiming this good news to a world that needs Jesus’ solution for sins.
Our Bible Study backs up our sermon as we learn about the comfort that Jesus resurrection give to us as we learn that for the believer heaven is certain and sure.
This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor Stephen Daley answers a question that many ask in our world. What is the most important thing to know before Judgment Day comes? We will hear of the comfort we have in knowing that our Lord has provided one way to eternal life, so that we do not have to wonder if we are on the road to heaven or doomed to hell.
Our Bible Study gives a clear explaination of why we look forward to heaven as our home as God’s children.
This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor Philip Krieger from Grace in Tecumseh, tells us plainly about the Last Day or Judgment Day. Our confidence on that day is trusting the judge who is our Savior and Redeemer.
Our Bible Study focuses on our lives of Christian service.
This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor Brian Keller from St. Stephen in Adrian, urges Christians to testify just as Luther took the opportunity to testify during the time of the Reformation. Our Lord wants us to reform our ways to the testimony of Jesus. What a beautiful and comforting testimony we can make on behalf of our Savior.
Our Bible Study clearly states the measure that Jesus will use to judge all people. His standard is not based on our works, but on the gift of faith he gives to every believer who clings to him as Savior alone.
This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor David Koehler from St. Stephen in Adrian, addresses Christians who often go to extremes. Do we ever overly rely on ourselves, and underestimate our Lord? The reality is that Jesus, our Savior, is the one on whom we can rely. Jesus makes this point clearly as he talks to a rich young man.
