This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor Stephen Daley from St. John’s in Riga directs our attention to the Psalms which also prophecied about the coming and work of Jesus. From Psalm 2 we see how foolish it is to oppose the Son of God. After all, he came as the Savior of the world and nothing can change the fact that he succeeded in completing God’s plan. Also Jesus is coming again to bring eternal blessings to all of his children.

This week on Lenawee Lutheran Worship, Pastor Philip Krieger from Grace in Tecumseh in the weeks following Christmas reminds us why Jesus needed to come in the flesh as our Savior from sin. He came and kept the law of God perfectly even as a baby in our place. He won the glories of heaven for us as our perfect Savior and substitute. This is the real joy of Christmas, knowing what Jesus came to do for the world.
